Mangalore, Mar 2: The Pandeshwar police has arrested a man possessing illegal weapon on Tuesday. The arrested is identified as Dhananjaya from Thokkottu. He has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
The police team is still on the lookout for the other two accused required. The police said inspector Venkatesh Prasanna, during routine patrolling near service bus stand, apprehended Dhananjaya, a known associate of criminal Krishna Shetty alias Kitti of Karkala.
On search, two live rounds were found in his possession. The police also found one .32 revolver, 4 live rounds and an empty magazine in the house of Rajendra of Thokkottu, another associate of Kitti.
