Mangalore, Mar 2: Physiotherapy equipment costing Rs 2 lac were given to Chetana School for special children on Thursday by GAIL Bangalore.

GAIL India Limited director (Human Resource) Mohan R Hingnikar who handed over the equipment to the school said that the company has been conducting its community services in health care, education, infrastructure development, women empowerment etc and one of its activities was donating the equipment to Chetana Special School.

Mohan further said that his company has recruited several candidates with physical disabilities and placed them in various positions.

District Wenlock Hospital Superintendent Dr Prabhudeva, Seva Bharati Trust office bearers and special students of Chethana were present at the programme.
