Mangalore, Apr 11: Volunteers of Vyakti Vikas Kendra (VVK) buoyed by the response of the first camp are planning to conduct the second batch of training in Art of Living course for hardcore criminals soon.

With the support of the district jail superintendent Thallur VVK had organized an introductory talk on Art of Living in jail premises from March 20 to 25. The course was conducted by Dr Vinaya Poornima.  Initially 27 inmates volunteered to attend the course.

At a press meet held here B N R Rao of VVK centre stated that initial classes and talk on Sudarshan Kriya (breathing techniques) had left under-trials impressed.

During this course a youth facing trial for murder confessed. He said that he was suffering mentally and was about to turn insane forever.  Another youth facing the similar charges said that he had successfully transformed into a very calm and cool individual. With the result of this VVK volunteers have shouldered to organize the second batch of training.
