Mangalore, Apr 16: The annual feast of St Joseph ward of Kinnigoli church was celebrated here on Sunday April 15 evening.
Kinnigoli assistant parish priest Fr Anil D'Silva was the chief guest. In his address he urged the members of the ward to be united in doing good all. He also exhorted the devotees to work towards building unity at the parish-level through Basic Christian Community. He also felicitated ward chief (gurkar) Robert Barboza for his yeoman's service for the last 14 years.
Children who have scored distinction and high marks different exams and parish council members from the ward were felicitated on the occasion.
Robert Fernandes welcomed the guests. Caroline Aranha presented the annual report. Angeline Tauro proposed vote of thanks. Hilary Mascarenhas compered the programe. The evening came to an end with family agape.
