Udupi, Apr 16: Tulu drama ‘Pilipatti Gadas’ by Nama Taluver team of Mudradi here has won the state-level Muddanu Sri Mahalingeshwara Tulu drama award at the competition that was held at Karkala recently.
The competition was organized by the Muddanu Sri Mahalingeshwara, Inna near here.
‘Case Number 99’ by Ranajana Kalavidaru team of Katpady and ‘Nannajjer Sude Thirgayer’ by Sangama Kalavider team of Manipal won the second and third places respectively.
The best actor award went to Sukumar Mohan of Nama Tuluver while Sucheta Kaup of Ranjana Kalavidaru bagged the best actress award.
The winning team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 11,111 while the Rs 9,999 was awarded to the second place winners. The third place winners received a cash prize of Rs 7,777.
