Mangaluru: J R Lobo inaugurates medical camp

Mangaluru, Jun 28: MLA J R Lobo inaugurated the third free medical check up camp organized by south block congress committee in association with 48th Kankanady Valencia, 49th Kankanady B ward and KMC hospital at Capitano School Nagori on June 28.

The blood donation camp was conducted in association with Red Cross and free dental check camp, in association with A J hospital.

Speaking after the inauguration MLA J R Lobo said, "I am happy with the response of the people for the medical check up camp, This camp has seen more turnout of the people compared to past two past camps. Even though we have so many hospitals, there is a need to organize similer camps, with an intention to help the economically backward people of the society. By seeing the response of the people we will orgainze many more free medical check up camps in south constituency in the months to come."

MLC Ivan D'souza and Mayor of Mangaluru city Jacintha Vijay Alfred were also present on the occasion.

Problems related to eyes, nose, ears, bones, skin and other common diseases were treated.

Free medicines and spectacles will be given to the persons who are in need.
