Mumbai: Bharath bank opens 69th branch at Bandra west

Mumbai, July 9: Bharath cooperative bank Mumbai limited inaugurated their 69th branch in Hotel Siddarth building on S V Road, Bandra west on Thursday morning, July 9.

Bank's executive president Jaya C Suvarna cut the ribbon and inaugurated the branch. Bunts Nyaya Mandali former president M D Shetty lighted the traditional lamp and set the functions of the branch in motion. Bank's executive Vice president advocate, Rohini J Salian inaugurated the ATM and Pushpalatha N Salian inaugurated the locker service.























Building owner Kethan Kothari speaking on the occasion wished that the bank may progress as the trusted bank and grow in prosperity.

Social worker Shanker K Suvarna Khar said that the bank has excelled in providing financial services from workers to employers as per their needs. “The sincerity and prompt service have pushed the bank to the peak. May Jaya Suvarna's dream of one hundred branches be a reality making the future of the bank brighter”, he said.

Guests of honor Raghurama K Shetty Belgaum, CA Ashwajith Hejmadi,Prashanth Kotian, Rathnakar Shetty Mundkooru, Narayana Poojary,Pushparaj Shetty, Bharath bank former directors L V Ameen, N A Sanil,N Nithyanand and local customers present on the occasion wished the bank well.

Directors Vasudev R Kotian, Bhaskar M Salian, advocate S B Ameen, Harischandra G Mulki, Damodar C Kunder, R D Poojary, K B Poojary,Gangadhar J Poojary, Suryakanth J Suvarna, Ashok M Kotian, Jyothi K Suvarna and Managing director and Chief executive C R Mulki conveyed their best wishes.

Deputy General Manager and head of the development department Mohandas Hejmadi welcomed, explained the business strategy of the bank and compered the programme. Branch Manager Surekha Rao, officials Vidya R Sanil, Mahesh R Kotian, Ashna C Ameen and Akshay R Ameen presented flower bouquets to the guests and welcomed them. Assistant Manager Mohan Karkera proposed Vote of thanks.

"We aim to open 1,000 new accounts and collect more than ten crores deposits on the first day. Bharath bank has achieved first place in the annual competition for prestigious and quality branches held by Bank association in Mumbai during the financial year of 2014 by collecting deposits worth more than Rs 1,500 crores. It is the witness to the quality service of the bank”, said bank's Managing director C R Mulki.
