Mumbai: Karnataka Janapada Parishat Maharastra unit holds Cultural programme

Mumbai, July 20: Karnataka Janapada Parishat, Maharastra unit held a Cultural programme 2015 under the aegis of Mulund Friends and Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy Mangaluru at Marata Mandir audotrium in Mulund east on Thursday afternoon, July 16. Karnataka government owned MCA company president N N Murthy inaugurated the programme.

Scholarships and uniforms were distributed to the students on theoccasion. Karnataka government Kannada development authority presidentDr L Hanumanthayya presided over the programme. Karnataka governmentVidhana Parishat Deputy Speaker Puttanna had arrived as Chief guest.

Guests of honour Kannada Sahitya Parishat Dakshina Kannada district president S Pradeepkumar Kalkura, Kannadiga Patrakarthara Sangha Maharastra president Chandrashekar Palethadi, Karnataka Janapada Parishat Kerala state unit president Keshava Prasad Nanihithlu,Kuthpadi Ramachandra M Ganiga Mulund, Ashok M Kotian, businessmanSunil Pais, VPM institute Mulund principal Nirupama Jorapura and Kasargod district Manjeshwar Tahsildar Shashidhar Shetty were present.

L N Murthi inaugurated the programme in Janapada sytle after beating the Yakshagana drums. Karnataka Janapada Parishat Maharastra unit and Mulund Friends president Suresh Shetty Yeyyadi welcomed and gave a keynote address. Sunanda Shetty, Yuvaraj Shetty, Navin Hegde andVenugopal Shetty honored the guests after presenting flower bouquets.Dayasagar Chouta compered the programme and proposed Vote of thanks.
