Mumbai: Railway Yatri Sangha meet to discuss travellers woes

Mumbai, Jul 28: President of Railway Yatri Sangha, Borivli, Mumbai west, Shimanthooru Udaya Shetty stated that the Sangha has scheduled their general body meeting at Hotel Link View, Linking Road here on Saturday August 1 at 10.15 am.

The meeting will be led by honorary founder president of the Sangha, Virar Shankar B Shetty under the guidance of MP Gopal C Shetty. Problems faced by travellers especially on Konkan railways, need for
additional trains and other topics will be discussed during the meeting. “Our struggle is for the rights of citizens. The voice of the travellers is our strength. All are free to participate in the discussions,” said Shimanthooru Udaya Shetty, president of the Sangha.

Shetty invited all the train travellers to participate in the discussions.

Chief secretary Sheela Shetty urged travellers, office bearers of Tulu Kannadiga groups and associations to participate in large numbers and help to make the meeting a success.
