Mumbai: Billavara Association Goregaon elects new office bearers

Mumbai, Aug 6: Billavara Association Goregaon local office elected its new office bearers at a programme held at Lalith Hotel Crystal hall at Goregaon west on July 20. Billavara Association president Nithyananda D Kotian presided over the programme.

Newly elected executive president for the new office Sachindra Kotian expressed his gratitude to Jagannath V Kotian who has been offering his premises for the last thirteen years for the meetings to be held. He said that land was bought for the new office and requested the community members to generously cooperate towards the project.

The following office bearers were elected at the meeting. Mohandas Hejmady – deputy executive president, Ramesh S Suvarna – deputy executive president, Shashidhar R Bangera – honorary secretary, Sathish J Kotian – assistant secretary, Mohan B Ameen – honorary treasurer, Dinesh A Poojary – assistant treasurer.

Members: Girija B Poojary, Padmavathi Poojary, Ananda P, Ail Kamalesh Karkera, Vittal Poojary, Keshava Poojary, Janardhan Kotian.

Five people from Yuva Shakthi, Shanker D Poojary, Bhaskar Bangera, Dr U Dhananjay Kumar, Shivaram Poojary, Pratap Kotian, Shambhu Suvarna Raj, Shekar Raj Kotian and Shankuntala Kotian were present on the
dais. Officials from the main office Dhananjay Kotian, Premnath Kotian, Vishwanath Thonse, Ashalatha Kotian, Nilesh Poojary, Mohandas G Poojary, Nagesh Kotian, Ravindra A Ameen, Srinivasa Karkera, local
office members L R Anchan, Pushpa Suvarna, Pushpa Ameen, Deju Poojary, Naveen Poojary and Bhavani Kotian were present as special invitees.

Dharmapal Anchan compered the programme. Newly elected secretary Shashidhara Bangera proposed the vote of thanks.
