Great entertainment to the youth. Such activities may motivate them into agriculture and modern cultivation methods too. This may lead them to respect farming activities. Congratulations to the organizers.

Very good initiative to bring back our youths to the roots where our forefathers started. How difficult it is for our farmers to grow our food and struggle to earn decent living. More parishes should organize such events and encourage youths to know basics of agriculture.

Along with the sports if youngsters had given training in modern cultivation the event will be more meaningful. We will get the bread from the soil of the land.We will cry in future if we only laugh today.

Instead of just playing in the fields it would be a good gesture if ICYM organizes 'Helping Farmer Day' where youth can collectively help the farmers in many small time activities. These activities can be helping in clearing the fields, harvesting etc. They can put their labour for productive use and ICYM can co-ordinate with the farmers to enable the youth to learn more about farming.
