Last sentence of this report is absolutly wrong. Where bank has failed to maintain so many istructions about security measures as insisted by Insurance co. Bank should compensate the amount to customers and not by the Insurance company. Already we can find out some serious mistakes by Bank as no security guard, No CCTV, NO Burgler Alarm, Safe locker key was not taken out by Branch Manager when he is going out, this is more enough to Insurance company to fight a case in court.

When people transact with co operative societies,co operative banks, sauhardha societies, private gold loan companies for gold loans and other financial products always run a risk of unsafty for their pledged items/jewels and most of these institutions do not comply security norms for safe vaults as specified by RBI.We can see a number of kerala origin private gold loan companies across the state operating in small buildings/offices with limited staff mostly working like daily wagers having no proven integrity factor which is also prove a very dangerous and costly affair oneday for those who deal with them.Therefor it is better to confine the financial dealing PSU/Priveta Commercial Banks for all such needs inspite deficiancy in service rendering in most of such offices.

HOW CAN THEY CLAIM INSURANCE WHEN THEY ARE AT FAULT FOR NOT HAVING CCTV/SECURITY GUARD WHICH IS A MUST IN THE INTEREST OF BANK AS WELL AS CUSTOMERS.
IN CASE IF THE INSURANCE COMPANY FAVOURS THIS WILL CREATE A PRECEDENCE TO OTHER SCHEDULED BANKS TO FOLLOW THE PATH TO MINT CRORES.
