So borrowers should not think that it is their money but repay the loans promptly for mutual progress. May the bank grow as a pro people organization,” said former MLA of Vitla Vidhana Sabha constituency A Rukmayya Poojary.



























Bharath Cooperative Bank limited inaugurated its 80th branch at Bhaveshwara building on Dr Annie Besant Road, Nehru Planetarium, Worli on the morning of Friday October 30. While bank executive president Jaya C Suvarna untied the ribbon and inaugurated the branch, Rukmayya Poojary lit the traditional lamp and wished the bank well.

Bank vice president advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated the ATM service, senior director Pushpalatha N Salian inaugurated the locker facility and managing director and chief executive officer C R Mulki
inaugurated the computerized services and expressed prosperity to the bank.

Former MLA Chandrashekar Prabhu, Dr Dinesh Kudva, Prabhakar Agarwal and U G Devi spoke as per context and conveyed their best wishes.

Guests of honor, hotelier Giriya Poojary, Mogaveera Bank vice president Suresh S Kanchan, bank's former directors N M Sanil, Mohan G Poojary, CA Ashwajith Hejmady, Sathischandra Shetty, Jagadish Bhai, Mohandas Poojary, Prakash Agarwal, building owner Naresh Alveja, Purushotham Poojary, Vittal Suvarna Worli, new local customers, shareholders and well wishers present on the occasion wished the new branch well.

Ullooru Dhananjay Shanthi and Shekar Shanti Ullooru conducted Vastu Pooje, Gana Homa, Dwara Pooje and distributed Prasada. Diwaker N Anchan, Shilpa Diwaker and Nisha Ganesh Poojary couple were in charge of religious rituals.

Bank's deputy general manger and development department head Mohandas Hejmady welcomed. Chief manager Nithyananda D Kotian gave the keynote address, introduced the guests and compered the programme. Executive president Jaya Suvarna presented flower bouquets to the guests and honored them. Branch assistant manager Hemanth R Agarwal, staff Swapna Sawanth, Babitha Kotian, Mehali K Anchan, Snehal Chitale, Santhosh Suvarna and branch manager Diwaker Anchan proposed the vote of thanks.
