Mumbai: Kannada department, Mumbai University holds three programmes

Mumbai, Dec 21: The Kannada department of Mumbai University recently held three programmes together at J P Nayak auditorium on Saturday December 19 afternoon.
















University chancellor winner author Dr Mamatha S Rao presided over the programmes. Kannada research center Mangaluru University head Dr Shivarma Shetty released two books and conducted Nari Chethana special lecture programme.

A book written by Dr G D Joshi was released by Dr Mamatha Rao and introduced by Dr Karunakar Shetty. Madhura Chennara Adhyayanada Hadi book by Anusaya Galagali was introduced and released by Dr Poornima S Shetty. Anusuya Ganagali and Basavaraj felicitated Dr G N Upadya.

A Narichethana programme was conducted by Sahitya Academy and Kannada department of Mumbai University. Dr Mamatha S Rao, Dr Poornima S Shetty, Anusuya Galagali, Hema Sadananda Ameen and others participated
in it.

A special lecture was jointly held by Kannada department, Mumbai University and Kanakadasa research center. Well known author, researcher and scientist Dr Vyasaraya Ninjooru delivered lectures.

Advocate Vasanth Kalakote, Rathnakar R Shetty, Ravi R Anchan, Shekar Ajekar, S Daya, Shamala Prakash, Shivaraj K and other authors were present. Rama Udupa introduced the guests and compered the programme.

Durgappa Koteyavar proposed the vote of thanks.
