Mumbai: GSB Mandala Dombivli celebrates Ganapathi festival

Mumbai, Feb 16: GSB Mandala Dombivli celebrated their eighth annual Maghi Ganapathi festival on Thursday February 11 with devotion.


The Ganapathi idol in clay from Kundapur prepared by Mangaluru’s artiste Kishore Pai was brought in procession on a chariot to the hall.

Collective prayers, Ganahoma, Tulabhara, Anna Santarpane and other religious programmes were held till night.

Vedamurthi Mohandas Bhat conducted Poojas and distributed Theertha prasada. Besides committee members, devotees from Dombivli, Kalyan and other places participated in large numbers and offered prayers to Ganapathi deity.
