Chikka, Aditi, Vani bag top golf awards

New Delhi, March 19 (IANS): S. Chikka was adjudged the best male player, while the top female award was shared by Aditi Ashok and Vani Kapoor at the Take Solutions Indian Golf Awards.

Apart from these two awards, Khalin Joshi and Shubhankar Sharma on Friday night shared the rising golfer award, while Gursimar Badwal was declared the rising woman golfer.

Star golfer Anirban Lahiri was named the brand ambassador in the event held at a city hotel.

Among other awards, Ahmedabad's Kensville Golf Club got the award for having the best course, while Bengaluru's Eagleton Golf Resorts, shepherded by Vijay Divecha, was honoured for having the best academy.
