Mumbai, Apr 18: The newly shifted Ghatkopar west branch of Bharath Cooperative Bank on Heerachand Desai Road was inaugurated on Friday April 15.










National Billava Maha Mandala president and Bharath Bank executive president Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the branch after cutting the ribbon. Povai Panchakuteera Suvarna Baba lit the traditional lamp. The bank's executive vice president advocate Rohini J Salian and director Pushpalatha N Salian inaugurated the ATM service and safe locker services respectively.

Building owner Udaya Shetty, D K Poojary, journalist Chandrashekar Palethady, Arvind Shetty, Mabian K M, Chemboor local committee member Sanjeeva Bangera, Vikroli local committee member Raghava Kunder, Narayana Shetty, Dr Pramod Sule, councillor professor S Kripanand, advocate G C Poojary, bank's former directors N M Sanil, Raja V Salian, N Nithyanand, directors Bhaskar M Salian, J A Kotian, U S Poojary, S B Ameen, Harishandra G Mulki, Chandrashekar S Poojary, Damodara C Kunder, R D Poojary, Jyothi K Suvarna, C T Salian, several bank shareholders, customers and well wishers were present.

Ullooru Dhananjay Shanthi, Shekar Shanti and Gangadhar Kalladi conducted Vasthu Pooje, Ganahoma, Sathyanarayana Mahapooje, Dwara Pooja and distributed Theertha Prasada. Bank officer Hemalatha Ramesh Salian couple were in charge of the religious rituals. The bank's deputy general manager and progress department head Mohandas Hejmady welcomed the guests and compered the programme. Rathnakar R Salian proposed the vote of thanks.
