Mumbai: Jain Sangha celebrates Bhagavan Mahaveera Jayanti

Mumbai, Apr 20: Akhila Karnataka Jain Sangha, here celebrated the 1615 th birth anniversary of Bhagavan Mahaveera at Pejavar Math, Prabhath Colony, Santacruz east on Tuesday April 12.







Pandith Nagendra Kumar conducted the religious rituals. Jain Sangha president B Muniraj Jain who presided over the programme released a religious work by Munishree Suvratha Sagar Maharaj on the occasion. He called upon everybody to work for the all-round development of the community.

Honorary treasurer of the Sangha P Anantharaja Jain, joint treasurer Sampath Kumar Jain, former president Y R Kori, women's wing president, Kavitha Jain other office bearers, Gunapal Jain, Padmaraja Hegde, Vani Vaidya, Jaya A Jain Kandivli, Lokanath Jain, Yuvaraja Hegde, Vani Vaidya, Jaya A Jain Kandivli, Lokanath Jain, Yuvaraja Jain, managing committee members Niveditha Shreyas Sable, Rajendra Hegde and others were present. Secretary Pavananjaya Ballal compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
