Three killed in Mumbai building crash


Mumbai, Apr 30 (IANS) : At least three people were killed and several others trapped when a partially-occupied building undergoing repairs collapsed here on Saturday afternoon, officials said.

According to BMC Disaster Control, the three-storied Sattar Building in Kamathipura of the congested Grant Road area in south Mumbai came crashing down around 2 p.m.

The fire brigade managed to rescue four people from under the debris while a search is on to find and extricate the others trapped under the rubble of the old structure.
