Rights activist Trupti Desai alleges attack by goons in Nashik, hospitalised


Mumbai, May 27 (Zee News): Women rights activist Trupti Desai was attacked by goons when she and her associates were on their way to a temple in Maharashtra's Nashik city last night, a media report said on Friday.

According to Times Now, Desai was rushed to a hospital after she was injured in the attack on her convoy.

Visuals broadcast by the channel show a badly damaged windshield of her car. The attackers have reportedly pelted stones at her car when they were on their way to the Kamleshwar temple in Nashik.

Further details were not immediately known.
