Mumbai, May 27: Jayarama P Shetty (60), proprietor of Amrith Bar and Restaurant situated on Andheri Kurla road, near Jerimeri passed away at Criticare Hospital, Andheri east after a kidney failure on Tuesday, May 24. The family members after bringing the remains to his residence at Povai Tungagaon were preparing for his last rites. Meanwhile his wife Shobha Jayaram collapsed and died there after a massive heart attack.



The couple had married at Dadar King George auditorium on June 23, 1983 and had celebrated the silver jubilee of their married life at Sakinaka Hapising Hotel in 2008. The couple which had completed 33
years of married life has passed away to be on the pyre.

The deceased couple has left behind a son, a daughter and a large number of friends and relatives. The last rites were held at Sakinaka Sagbhag crematorium on Wednesday evening, May 26. A large number of people paid their last respects and expressed their condolences.
