Mumbai: Bharath Bank GM retires after 29 years service

Mumbai, Jun 7: Bharath Bank general manager Shobha Dayanand retired from service after 29 years of meritorious service in the bank on May 31. She was the head of the finance department at the time of
her retirement.


A programme was held at the bank's Goregaon boardroom on June 4 to bid her farewell. Bank's executive president Jaya Suvarna praised her work and wished her a healthy and peaceful retired life. Vice
president Rohini J Salian said that Shobha is the pride of the womenfolk. Senior officials and directors of the bank were present.

Earlier Shobha Dayanand was felicitated by staff on May 31. The bank's chief executive president Jaya C Suvarna draped a shawl around Shobha Dayanand, presented fruits and flowers and honored her. Senior
officers, employees union office bearers, Bharath Bank officers association office bearers, staff welfare club office bearers and head office staff were also present.
