Mumbai: Goregaon Karnataka Sangha holds 58th annual meeting

Mumbai, Jun 8: The 58th annual meeting of Goregaon Karnataka Sangha was held at Barkur Rukmini Shetty Memorial mini hall, Goregaon on Sunday June 5. President of the Sangha Devalkunda Bhaskar Shetty presided over the meeting. Honorary chief secretary Veena B Kalavar read the previous year's report and progress report. Honorary treasurer Narayana R Mendon presented the annual accounts.









Vice president Ketkere Sanjiva Shetty, joint secretaries Vasanthi Kotekar and Vittal M Shetty, library head J K Hegde were on the dais. Devulkunda Bhaskar Shetty was newly elected president and Katkere Sanjiva Shetty was elected as the vice president in the meeting. Ravi R Anchan, G T Acharya and Mundkooru Surendra Salian were unanimously elected members.

Library department director Gunodaya S Ail, Harischandra Acharya, former president V P Kotian, member Padmaja Munnooru and Chandrashekara N Shetty expressed their opinions. Members S M Shetty, Mundkooru Surendra Salian and Ravi R Anchan, Shakuntala R Shetty, G T Acharya, Payyaru Ramesh Shetty, executive committee members Veda M Suvarna, Narayana T Bangera, P V Aithal, Mohan Marnad, Vishwanath Thonse, women's wing vice president Bhaskar T Ameen, Mohini R Poojary, K V R Aithal and others were present.

Katkere Sanjiva Shetty welcomed. A silent prayer was said for the departed souls. Seema Kulkarni group sang the prayer. Joint secretary Vasanthi Kotian proposed the vote of thanks.
