Mumbai: Retired BMC teacher Sushila Vardhaman Jain passes away

Mumbai, Jun 15: Teacher Sushila Vardhaman Jain (61) who had retired after teaching at Kannada schools in Mumbai Corporation for 31 years passed away at her hometown in Karkala Bajagoli on June 5 after a brief illness.

She had served at several corporation schools in Goregaon, Jogeshwari and other places and had become popular among students and parents. She was also active in the working committee of Akhila Karnataka Jain
Sangha, here.

She has left behind her husband Vardhaman Jain, two daughters, a large number of friends and relatives. Akhila Karnataka Jain Sangha Mumbai office bearers and members expressed their condolences on the sad demise of Sushila Jain.
