Mumbai, Jul 8: Vidya Prasaraka Mandala distributed free uniforms to students of VPM Kannada medium primary school students on July 7. Lion Club president Chitra Choudari, chief guest at the programme praised the efforts of the school authorities.
The programme started with prayers by the students. Vasanth Khade, headmistress Suvina Shetty and Aruna Bhat were on the dais. Inspectors, teachers and students had gathered at the programme.
Teacher Jayanthi Ail welcomed, compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks. Gauri Deshpande and teacher Ambajeppa Katagaon read the list of beneficiary students. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
