Mumbai, Jul 8: A programme was held at VPM school here to present talent awards to SSC and HSC students. Vidya Prasaraka Mandala, honorary chief secretary Dr P M Kamath presided over the programme.
The programme began with prayer by the girl students. B H Katty, professor C J Pai, N M Gudi, were present on the dais. Mandala office bearers Gadadubli, headmistress Suvina Shetty and Aruna Bhat, inspectors, Thejaswini Patil, Kannada and English medium students Akshatha Gowda, Atharva Mallari, old students and mandala members Prasanna Pandith shared their opinions.
Teachers Manoj Patak, Sumithra R Gowda and Laxmi Ramalingam read the list of students. Teacher Vijayalaxmi welcomed the guests and compered the programme. Anjali Kaligali proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
