Jet Airways deploys Boeing 777 Aircraft on Mumbai-Dubai route


Jet introduces First Class suites for heightened luxury and comfort 

Dubai, Jul 17: Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, is set to deploy its largest capacity aircraft - Boeing 777-300ER between India and Dubai, to meet growing demand on the sector.

With this deployment, Jet Airways will continue to remain the largest India carrier, offering 70 flights per week, between India and Dubai.

Starting August 6, Jet Airways 9W 543 Dubai –Mumbai and flight 9W 544 from Mumbai to Dubai and the return leg flight, will be operated on the popular wide-body jetliner, thus replacing the narrow-body Boeing 737-800.

The change will allow the airline to showcase its famed First Class service on the Mumbai-Dubai route. Jet Airways’ Boeing 777 service boasts of a three-class configuration, consisting of 8 First Class Suites, 30 Premiere seats that open out into lie-flat beds, and 308 ergonomically designed seats in Economy.

Dubai is a key destination for business and leisure travel from India. With its strategic location, Dubai has become a hub for many global businesses and a go-to destination for Indian professionals. Jet Airways’ capacity enhancement comes at a time when India has strengthened its position as one of UAE’s largest trading partners, with bilateral trade at an all-time high.
Jet Airways currently operates a total of 10 daily flights between India and Dubai.

Moreover, it will allow us to more than double capacity, addressing the demand for more seats on the route, at a time when trade and investment between India and the UAE is booming.”

Superior inflight experience

The Jet Airways Boeing 777 offers guests a luxurious inflight experience. Each of the eight First Class suites on the Boeing 777 aircraft features an 81 inch long bed, a 23 inch flat screen monitor and carefully designed storage areas that include a personal hanging wardrobe, dual credenza and under ottoman stowage. Each of these private suites is designed to allow dining for two with a VIP/Business Jet style table, multiple LED lighting options, variable lumbar support and an eight point massage system. For those who wish to catch up with work, the First Class suites provide power source and telephone connectivity.

Guests in the Premiere cabins can travel in comfort in a cabin that creates a virtual living room, a space to work, rest or entertain. The seat opens out to a 180 degree flat bed with lumbar support and massage system.

Jet Airways economy seats on board the Boeing 777 have a seat pitch of 32 inches, and are ergonomically designed to create the most comfortable economy seating in the sky.

The Jet Airways Boeing 777 includes a selection of fine food and beverages on board. It will offer Champagne and wines from around the world including Bollinger La Grande Annee, served in Rona stemless glassware. The menu choices are extensive and plated on hand crafted William Edwards porcelain dinnerware. Jet Airways has also introduced the very delectable, signature Satay dish as an appetizer on its Singapore to Mumbai flights in Premiere class.

With the airline’s state-of-the-art inflight Panasonic eX2 entertainment system, guests have the choice of over 1,500 hours of Hollywood and Bollywood movies, regional films, television and short programming, audio CDs covering a wide spectrum of music genres.

Deploying a Boeing 777 – 300 ER aircraft with a bigger belly space, enables doubling the daily available cargo capacity, on the route.
