Mumbai: Model Co-operative Bank holds 99th annual meeting

Mumbai, Aug 29: Model Co-operative Bank held their 99th annual general body meeting at St Xavier College auditorium, Mahim on Saturday evening, Aug 27.
















The bank’s executive president Albert W D’Souza who presided over the meeting presented the details of the previous year’s activities and said that the bank has 16 branches at present. He said that the bank has secured immense growth in share capital, loans and deposits and announced a dividend of 12% on its shares.

The bank’s founder president John D’Silva, executive president William Sequeira, directors Vincent Mathias, Philip L S Pinto, Thomas D’Lobo, Lawrence D’Souza, Abraham Clement Lobo, advocate Pius Vas, Benedicta Rebello, Marita D’Mello, Jerald Cardoza, and Ancy D’Souza were on the dais.

Don Bosco Engineering College director Fr Mario Vas offered holy mass before the meeting. Edward Rasquinha read the Bible. Kavitha D’Souza lead the prayer of the faithful. Reuben W Bothello and group
sang hymns.

The bank's shareholders, former directors, senior officials, branch managers and well-wishers were present. The bank’s CEO and general manager William L D’Souza presented the notification letter and the previous year's report. A silent prayer was said for the souls of the departed members in the previous year. Edward Rasquinha compered the meeting. Additional general manager Herald M Serrao proposed the vote of thanks.
