Mumbai BJP MLA gifts wife Rs 5 crore Lamborghini, she rams it into auto

Mumbai, Aug 30 )DC) : A BJP MLA from Mira-Bhayander in Mumbai gifted his wife a Rs 5 crore saffron Lamborghini for her birthday on August 27, only for the woman to ram it into a parked auto on the road.

According to reports, MLA Narendra Mehta’s wife Suman took the Lamborghini out for a ride, but lost control of the vehicle and rammed it into the auto.

The MLA had even announced the gift of the car to his wife on Facebook. Soon after the accident, a video of it began to trend on social media.

Though no one was injured in the accident, the auto’s headlight was smashed by the impact. This angered the auto driver, and it required Narendra Mehta’s intervention to calm things down.






Mehta immediately compensated the auto driver for the damages to his vehicle and thus no case was filed with the Navghar police. The car is now parked inside the Seven Eleven Academy school premises, from where it was taken for a spin by Suman.

“My wife has 18 years of experience and has driven an Audi and other imported cars. The car just touched front of the auto and it was not damaged,” Mehta was quoted as claiming.

    Narendra Mehtha is into diamond business. He carried forward his father's business empire, then entered politics. Like Donald Trump, he too did not come to politics for making money.

    Please explain the luxurious cars owned by Sidramayyas sons. Or that of Gowda family. Or DKshi's.
    How did Sonya and Rahul accumulate such a huge welath? I never heard of any business run by them except the 'party'!!

    Mr Narendra Mehta is an well known business man and builder in Mira Road. He owns the Seven Eleven group of companies which also runs several schools.

    Buying a Lamborghini or Audi or Merc is not a big deal for him. I don't understand why people or jealous and bring politics in this too.

    There are instances wherein people have paid income tax, but due to wrong entry at IT office, they get notice after notice to pay under Section 143(1) even for 5 to 10 thousand rupees.
    But, for politicians and other corrupt people, 10 cr, 100 cr or 1000 cr, no one bothers. Incredible India.

    Even though this MLA shares his initials (NM) with his party chief, was quite sincere in his electoral affidavit as far as educational qualification is concerned which is 8th standard. But with a net worth of 18cr(2013 -14) parting with 5cr for a birthday gift is possible only for a ruling part politician.
