Mumbai, Sep 26: Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha held their 8th annual meeting at Billavara Bhavan, Santacruz east on Saturday morning, 24 September. Chandrashekar Palethady, president of the Sangha, presided over the programme.
Advisory committee members Dr Sunitha M Shetty, advocate B Moidin Mundkooru, advocate Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty, Billavara association Mumbai honorary chief treasurer Maheshi, Karkal and Kalajagathu Thonse Vijayakumar Shetty and Harish Moodbidri were present.
Well known Chartered Accountant CA I R Shetty and Company were reappointed as auditors for 2016-17.
A silent prayer was said for the departed journalists last year. Honourary general secretary Rons Bantwal welcomed. Sports secretary Harish K Hejmady read previous year's report. Honorary treasurer Premnath B Shetty Mundkooru presented previous year's income and expenditure account. Joint secretary Babu K Belchada gave details of activities during the year. Vice president Dayasagar Chowta conducted the proceedings. Joint treasurer Ashok S Suvarna proposed Vote of thanks.
