Flyer caught smuggling riyals, dirhams and dollars to Dubai


Mumbai, Oct 8 (TOI): A flyer, Mohammed Poker, was booked for allegedly trying to smuggle foreign currency equivalent to Rs 14 lakh out of the country on Friday. The accused, who was heading for Dubai, had concealed the currency in his socks and in his trolley bags' handles. Officers found 13,000 Saudi riyals in his socks and 38,500 Saudi riyals, 18,300 UAE dirhams, 350 Omani riyals,1,750 Qatar riyals and 200 US dollars in bag handles.
