Mumbai, Oct 28: National Billava Mandala president and Bharath Bank president, Jaya C Suvarna at a programme held at Billava Bhavan in the city inaugurated the fifth book in Kannada on Prime Minister Modi written by Ahmedabad origin writer, author, journalist and honorary lecturer of prestigious Gujarat University, M S Rao.

Akshaya editor, Dr Ishwara Alevooru said that M S Rao has created history by writing the first Kannada book in Gujarati script. Modi has given ten interviews to Rao including his first interview after being the chief minister and later becoming Prime Minister which is a landmark," he said.

Poet and teacher B S Kurkal, Nithyananda D Kotian of Mumbai Billavara Association, Gujarat Billavara Sangha founder Mohan C Poojary, senior industrialist, political leader L V Ameen, littérateur, poet and editor M B Kukyan, littérateur H S Poojary, Dr Karunaker Shetty, Shanker Poojary, Raja Salian, Bhasker Bangera, Shakuntala Kotian, Mahesh Karkal were present. Harish K Hejmady compered the programme.
