    Do you think I am Upper class Brahmin ? No, I am also Dalith. I am not facing any discrimination anywhere. More over I am getting Lot of extra benefits which upper class people are not getting. Unless you know properly on Hindu's and their rituals dont talk. People like you only making discrimination by calling us Daliths.

    Remember the soul of Vemula & the brave living dalit icon Kanaiaha watching your statements..,

    without any bias or prejudice, just to enlighten you, when i was small I remember i got water to drink by an upper class brahmin house near the temple in coconut shell while my friend who is a brahmin got water in a steel bowl. however, I remain grateful to the brahmin lady who offered water to fulfill my thirst.

    I agree time is changed now.., thanks to the untiring efforts of secular nation building leaders like Gandhiji, Nehruji & Ambedkarji against all odds. the empowerment what you & me enjoying are attributable to our above quoted greatest of great legacy leaders of Hindustan.

    I want an answer from you why Parama poojya swamiji not wearing Janivara while performing "Thaila Shastr" in a dalit attending function.

    People who take oath of sanyas are not supposed to wear Janivara. Hence, Swamiji’s do not wear Janivara.’

    It has nothing to do with dalit. If you have doubt on me, you may go through all previous photos of various swamiji’s.

    They really did not worry about Janivara. Their congi buddi was above to create another controversial story with headlines “ SWAMIJI REMOVED JANIVARA WHILE DOING TAILA SHASTRA TO DALITS” without knowing the fact that Sanyasi do not wear Janivara, just like Vemula case who committed suicide for his own personal reasons. But they changed entire story and also converted him to dalit that too after his Death just to fetch political gains.

    Just for your information, Majority of Hindus visit Church or Mosque by thinking that just an another God's place without thinking that belong to which religion. But people like you doubts on Hindus and make unnecessary statements on believes,then really hurts.Any one can blame on individual action, but not on whole religious practice.

    hemanth,

    You must know that the catholic preists are transferred after certain years and also there is no cast system in catholics or christianity as a whole(one of the reasons for people converting to christianity). If ever there is a priest who comes from a dalit background and if he is deemed to be qualified he can also become pope.

    @Shankar,

    Does the absence of Janivara (a sacred thread) anything to do with extending taila shastra to a Dalit by swamiji.
    Abdulla may have a point to reflect upon..., inner intent nobody know.., except Lord Krishna who gave darshan to a dalit called KANAKA.

    Some introspection is required..., nothing wrong in asking or knowing from swamiji why he didn't wear janivara in a function where dalits were also present as devotees.

Some of shastras are slowly adopting by westerners...when they find benefit from it. Our's is anceient religion...no match for others. Becauae we believe in yugas and not years...which just entered.
