Bairstow, Buttler lead England recovery


Mohali, Nov 26 (IANS): Jonny Bairstow completed a half-century as England posted 205/5 at tea on the opening day of the third cricket Test against India here on Saturday.

Bairstow was unbeaten on 66 at the break while Jos Buttler was batting on 38 at the other end.

For India, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Jayant Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja took a wicket each.
