Mumbai, Nov 28: Narayana L Suvarna (78), well known social worker here and former president of Billavara Association in the city, former vice president of Bharath Co-operative Bank Limited and mastermind of Akshaya monthly magazine passed away at a private hospital in Mangaluru on Sunday November 27 morning.

He hailed from Mulki and was a resident of Borivli, here. He was a retired officer of LIC and had served in several groups and associations.

He has left behind his wife and two daughters. Many community leaders, office bearers of several organizations, members and the elite have expressed their condolences on his death.
