Marciniak to referee Barcelona-PSG tie

Paris, Feb 13 (IANS): Polish Szymon Marciniak will referee the Champions League pre-quarterfinal between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes here on Tuesday.

Marciniak's countrymen Tomasz Listkiewicz and Pawel Sokolnicki were picked as the linesmen for Tuesday's match, The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced.

Marciniak previously oversaw Atletico Madrid's 1-0 victory over Bayern Munich and the Real Madrid-Borussia Dortmund 2-2 draw during this season's group stage, reports Efe.

Barcelona played against PSG on nine occasions, in which the Catalans emerged victorious in four matches, were defeated twice and drew in three.
