Mangaluru: Kevin Misquith presents his 43rd musical concert for noble cause.

Mangaluru, Feb 14: Kevin Misquith along with his band ‘Milestone’ presented his 43rd concert at Maria Ashram Church grounds Talapady on Sunday, February 12.

The concert was organized by ICYM Kasargod deanery to help a fellow youth among them, who is in medical need. Kevin Misquith had agreed to present his concert with no expectations in return solely to raise funds for noble cause.

Fr Victor the director of Kasargod deanery ICYM, Fr Nelson Olivera, parish priest Maria Ashram, Jerald Rodrigues, the youth for whom the concert was held Jackson Saldanha, Jackson Eric D’Souza, president of ICYM Lawrence D’Souza, Sandeep Monteiro and artist Kevin Misquith were present on stage during a short formal programme held in between the concert.

Lawrence D'Souza welcomed the gathering. Jerald Rodrigues was handed over an amount of Rs. 3, 50,000 that was from the concert.

Incidentally the day coincided with the day when Kevin began his musical journey with his very first concert in the year 2007. Kevin Misquith was felicitated for completing 10 years of contribution to Konkani music and doing this concert for a noble cause. Fr Victor and Fr Nelson appreciated the efforts of the youth to help their fellow youth. Claudia compered the formal programme.

Kevin presented his popular songs like Kenna Kenna, Thembe Thembe, Pavlle, Mhoeja Anja along with other super hits. The crowd received each of the songs with cheers and applause. The tribute session presented by Kevin was the highlight of the event which received resounding applause. Daijiworld's Yeya Hasonvya winners fame ‘Comedy Cousins" enacted the jokes.

Ashwin Sequeira, Rynel Sequeira and Senet D’Cunha accompanied Kevin in singing. Sheldon Crasta compered the music concert.

Jerald Rodrigues, son of Sebastian Rodrigues, aged 31 years hailing from Ukkinadka Kasargod, is suffering from Chronic Renal Failure. He has been advised to undergo dialysis treatment twice a week or to get renal transplant.
