Kasargod: Fire tragedies in district - two women die

Kasargod, Apr 3: Two women, who suffered injuries in two separate fire accidents in the district, lost their lives at the hospitals on Sunday April 2.

Mini (48), wife of Raja Lucas (48) resident of Bandadka Chullikere Ullachil, who had been admitted into hospital after she was covered by flames when stoking the gas stove on Saturday April 1. After flames suddenly covered her, Mini had suffered grave injuries. She was thereafter admitted into a hospital at Mangaluru but could not be saved.

Another lady, identified as Tulasi (20) daughter of A Tamban and Sarojini couple from Munnad Pilikkode, who suffered severe burns due to accidental fire a few days ago, also succumbed to her injuries on Sunday. Police personnel of Bedagam station have registered a case relating to this incident.
