Kundapur: Movadi case- Eleven men appear in court, secured bail

Kundapur, May 3: Eleven men accused to have been assaulted in the recent Movadi incident, appeared in court on Tuesday May 2 on their own. The court has granted them bail.

Gururaja Acharya, Sunil Poojary, Chandra Poojary, Dheeraj, Vinay, Sathish, Sreekanth, Laxmikanth, Prasanna, Bharath and Sharath are the suspects.

Shakuntala, resident of Ganadamakki Koragara colony, Hosadu grama had lodged a complaint at Gangolli police station on April 27 on grounds that the suspects had illegally entered her house on April 25, assaulted her relatives Harish, Mahesh and Srikanth and threatened to kill them.

A case was registered at Gangolli police station. Investigations are in progress.
