Moodbidri, May 6: Former minister and local MLA, K Abhay Chandra Jain, has been appointed by the state government as the joint president of Shravanabelagola Mahamastakabhisheka Mahotsava Samithi. The government has ordered to make available to him facilities for which cabinet rank ministers are eligible.
As such, Jain will get a government car, office room at Vikasa Soudha, staff, and other facilities.
It is learnt that the MLA, who had not opted to acquire a new car even when he was the minister, has reiterated this time too that he will be happy with the old car.
