Mumbai, Jun 19: As disappointment grips over majority of the country and has left cricket fans fuming over India's defeat against Pakistan in Champions trophy final, a Maharashtra man breaks his TV set unable to cope with his frustration on Sunday

Vijay Tiwari, a real-estate agent by profession said that he had high expectations from the Indian cricket team against its opponent. "Majority of the Pakistani team are new... we are the worlds No.1 and yet they defeated us," he exclaimed.

Unable to contain his feeling, Tiwari broke his TV-set at his home at Nalasopara in Palghar district about 60-km from Mumbai. “This is a black day for us (Indian people). I am saddened, agitated, angry…we had lot of expectations (from the Indian Cricket team),” Tiwari spoke to media, while wondering how the team with experienced players lost to relatively their younger counterpart.

Terming that team India had dashed the hopes of crores of Indians and cricket fans, he termed the defeat as humiliation. Tiwari further added that with the ongoing geo-political tension between the two countries, the defeat further amplified his agony. “We would not have bothered if Indian team had lost to any other side… But knowing the present tension in Kashmir and at our borders, they have lost to Pakistan?…,” he sighed.

At Oval cricket stadium on Sunday, Pakistan defeated India by posting a massive 338 runs at the Champions Trophy Final. While Indian team did not reach even half the mark and were all out with 158 runs in 30 over.
