Udupi, Jul 5: The mortal remains of Prakash Pai (54) working as development officer of LIC of India was found from the rivulet near Pandarinatha Bhajana Mandir at Padukare near Kaup on Tuesday July 4.
There were reports that some fishermen had seen Pai jumping into Manipur rivulet two days back. His car was found parked nearby with a suicide note which said he was frustrated at the nagging migraine he was suffering from. Search operations launched to find his body had failed to succeed.
Some people who were engaged in fishing in the rivulet on Tuesday sighted the body and informed others. The body was brought out with the help of social worker, Soori Shetty, and others.
