Media ReleaseUdupi, Jul 11: The ICYM Moodubelle unit members started their year with their first event, working in field of Simon and Eliza Mendonca at Arbi Moodubelle, on July 9.The event was inaugurated by Fr Clement Mascharennhas with the planting of saplings in the field. The inauguration was held solemnly with a prayer. In his message the priest urged the gathering to be understanding and respectful of hardworking people. 38 ICYM Moodubelle members participated in the programme.
Jevita D'Souza compered the event. ICYM Moodubelle president Vinod D'Souza welcomed the gathering. Nevil D'Souza highlighted the significance of the programme. Meldrin D'Souza proposed the vote of thanks. ICYM deanery president Deon, ICYM Moodubelle secretary Seema D'Souza, assistant priest of the Moodubelle church Lawrence Cutinha, church vice-president Vincent Fernandes, secretary Latha D'Mello were present among others. The programme began and ended promptly.
