Permannur, Oct 12: The Catholic Sabha, Permannur unit, took the initiative to organize a vehicle blessing ceremony at St Sebastian Church, Permannur, on Sunday, October 11.

The Holy Masses were offered by the parish priest, Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, along with the assistant priests, Fr Mewlyn D’Souza and Fr Jagdish Pinto.

Following each Holy Mass, the priests blessed the vehicles brought by parishioners, invoking God’s protection and guidance for drivers and passengers and praying for safe journeys.

As part of the programme, sweets were distributed to all those who participated, adding a joyful touch to the occasion. The initiative by the Catholic Sabha, Permannur unit, provided an opportunity for parishioners to seek God’s blessings for their vehicles and entrust their daily travels to His care.

The programme reflected the Catholic Sabha’s commitment to nurturing faith, fostering fellowship, and promoting the spiritual well-being of the parish community. The event concluded with prayers for the safety of all road users and God’s continued blessings upon every family.
