Puttur: Engineering student from Charvaka commits suicide at Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Jul 15: Akshit (24) who belonged to Charvaka village in the taluk ended his life at Bengaluru on Thursday July 13 by hanging himself. He was a M.Tech student of R V College there.

Akshit was the son of Abhikara Vasant Gowda in Charvaka village. He had completed his matriculation at Kaniuyoor and PU education from Puttur. He then secured his engineering degree from KVG college Sullia. He had got admission in R V College here to pursue M.Tech course.

Reasons for taking this extreme  step are unknown as yet. The student has left behind parents and a brother.
