Beltangady, Jul 18: A youth who had gone missing since Sunday July 16 morning was found to have drowned in a well. His body was found from the well on Monday.
Yogeesh (23), son of Dooja from Krishnanagar in Sonandur village in the taluk had gone missing under mysterious circumstances since Sunday. The family which was searching for him found his footwear by the side of an abandoned well in the village.
The family members, who grew suspicious, informed the fire brigade. Fire brigade personnel succeeded in bringing the body out of the well. A report about the incident was filed in Punjalkatte police station.
