B'lore: ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Ties up with American Express

Bangalore, June 7: ICICI Prudential Life Insurance announced its tie-up with American Express Banking Corp recently, in a service initiative that will enable ICICI Prudential Life policyholders across the world to pay their insurance premiums.

All ICICI Prudential Life policy holders who hold an American Express Card can log into ICICI Prudential Life website and make payment through American Express online payment gateway. Alternatively, policy holders also have the option to walk into any ICICI Prudential Life branch, and make a one-time premium payment. Further, the policy holder can also opt to give standing instruction for auto debit of his credit card for subsequent premiums.

Commenting on the new service initiative, Anita Pai, executive vice-president, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance said, 'At ICICI Prudential Life, ‘Customer First’ is one of our core philosophies, which guides us to introduce innovative, yet simple products and services that meet the customer needs and delight them by increasing their convenience. Our partnership with American Express is yet another step in the direction of making customer interactions convenient and effortless.'

Commenting on the partnership, Sunil Sachdev, vice-president and market head, India and area countries, Merchant Services International said, 'By signing up with ICICI Prudential Life for card acceptance, we will be able to provide tremendous value to our card members. The ability to pay recurring insurance premiums on the card brings unprecedented convenience and rewards to our card members, enabling them to use the card as they please.'
