PM Modi losing popularity in Gujarat, says Raj Thackeray

Mumbai, Oct 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi should behave like a PM and not as the CM of Gujarat, lashed out Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray in a television interview. He also said that the PM was losing popularity in his home state of Gujarat.

The Prime Minister is not living up to the mandate given to him by the people and has clearly failed to live up to the hype. "Has anyone seen a Prime Minister organizing rallies?" he questioned, criticizing Modi for organizing extensive rallies ahead of the Gujarat Assembly election.

Stating that Maharashtra was much ahead of Gujarat in terms of industrial progress, he accused BJP of presenting a 'wrong picture'. He also questioned that if BJP has done the development they claimed in Gujarat, then why are they organising aggressive election campaigns and why they fear the upcoming elections.

The MNS chief said that there was a need to fix the railway system before Bullet trains. Only Rs 1 lac crore is needed to improve the railways, he said.

He stressed that BJP's 2014 victory needs to be probed. "BJP had never got this many votes and there was issue with EVMs that needs to be investigated," he said.

Thackeray said that underworld element Dawood Ibrahim wanted to return to India owing to his poor health. However the PM will portray it as his feat in the upcoming elections, he said.

Finally he slammed BJP for filing criminal cases against people who write against them on social media. It was through the same social media, they won over people and now they are not able to digest the fact that things have changed, he said.

Right from 2014 since Bjp came to power they have messed up kashmir , they have not created jobs, they have reshuffelled cabinet 2 times in 3 years.. This shows their inability to rule. Remember Modi had said kashi ka kyuoto banaunga. Where is kyoto and lot more ghoshana given. Modi in last 3 years has only travelled around the world and when in india he is seen as campaining in elections. He is not pm but rss pracharak. Thats the truth.
Since BJP came in 2014 they have not left any stone unturned to create hatred among communities. Their divisive policies are compelling me to vote for congress in 2019 first time ever in 2019. I am sorry to say that I voted for Bjp in 2014.

The Modi deity worshipers are repeatedly telling that Modi is doing miracles for the long-term growth of India. it seems like Modi is focusing for the coming generations, not for the current generation.

The massive unemployment, the closing of millions of small family operated business, declining PMI and GDP. Can you specifically predict when this downward trend will be reverted? Talking mere talk of economic growth is like the Hitler's promise that Germany will be taking over Russia very soon while the Russian army was in Germany too close to the bunker of Hitler in April 1945.
