Kasargod: Borewell drilling machine laden lorry topples into roadside fields, six injured

Kasargod, Dec 20: As many as six people were injured after a borewell drilling machine laden lorry toppled into roadside fields in Bidiadka on Tuesday, December 19.

The injured are Tamil Nadu resident Murugan, workers Assam residents Raju, Rahul, Jyothish and Piplo.

The lorry fell into a ten feet deep pit when the driver of the lorry lost control of the vehicle while giving way to a scooter approaching from the opposite direction. Local people in the rescue operation pulled those who were stuck under the vehicle and rushed them to a nearby hospital.



This is the fourth accident involving borewell machines here in the last four months. One person has died and more than ten people have been injured till now.
