Bengaluru: Youngster called out on eve of brother's marriage, stabbed to death

Bengaluru, Dec 23: Sheikh Rizwan (20) was busy attending to the arrangements for the marriage of his brother that was to be held at Devarajeevahalli in the city on the night of Friday December 22. Those who invited the youth out of the house on this occasion, stabbed him to death before fleeing.

The incident happened at around midnight on Thursday. The personnel of Devarajeevanahalli police station have since arrested the accused, who have been identified as Chota Shahid, Syed and another man.

The marriage of Irfan, brother of Rizwan, was to take place on Friday. Preparations were on on Thursday night for the marriage. A stranger who came into the house on Thursday night, said he wanted to speak to Rizwan. Rizwan went with him outside his house to talk. He was then led to a desolate place after which all the three together murdered Rizwan, police stated. Cause for the murder is unknown.
